Kin Kitchen
Kin Kitchen is a community food project designed to be both receptive and responsive to needs of the community relating to food poverty, sustainable food practises, and social inclusion. We raise money through food related events and partnerships, that then fund free community food initiatives.
The key aims of the project are:
To create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces that bring people together from across our community to share food, connect, and learn.
To address food poverty and promote sustainable food practises.
To raise awareness of various inequalities and injustices affecting people in our community and beyond.
We host community meals, run cooking classes, provide meal kits, and do an amount of collaboration with other community projects.
