Greater Govanhill
Greater Govanhill is a solutions-focused community magazine, that is available both in print and online.
We also host a monthly radio show on local community station, Radio Buena Vida. The print magazine is published quarterly and distributed for free around the neighbourhood. Around 60 people from all backgrounds contribute to each issue and we publish articles in multiple community languages. The magazine aims to challenge negative stereotypes, break down cultural barriers and provide a platform to typically under-represented voices. The purpose of the magazine is to help to unify the different communities in Govanhill to create a more cohesive identity for the neighbourhood.
