Forestry Commission Scotland

Forestry Commission Scotland advises and implements forestry policy to protect and expand Scotland’s forests and to increase their value to society and the environment.

Central Scotland Engagement Programme is working proactively towards ensuring that people from all communities and sections of society are equally able to benefit from opportunities that are provided by our public woodlands and forests. We provide funding through the Community Fund for community groups, voluntary groups, development trusts, social enterprises and charities who can apply throughout the year. In addition to the Engagement Programme, “The Volunteer Community Champion Programme”” which is a joint project with CEMVO has been successful in recruiting, trained and empowered 20 diverse VCC in the last 3 years and is running Alumni VCC training sessions till April 1st 2019
