Crossroads Youth & Community Association (CYCA)

Crossroads Youth & Community Association is an independent registered charity seeking to bring about positive change for people and communities in Govanhill & Gorbals. For 50 years dignity and commonality have been key features of our youth and community development work. We aim to be present and work alongside people to navigate the choices and challenges of everyday life and develop opportunities for lasting change.

The main aim of our current Govanhill project is to promote and facilitate integration and help strengthen community cohesion and resilience through working with women and their families from across diverse cultures. The objective is to gain an in-depth understanding of the concerns, interests and barriers for a representative range of women living in Govanhill and to challenge prejudice and break down barriers.
