Translations & different formats
Both the letter and booklet are available to download in Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Gaelic, Hindi, Hungarian, Kurdish Sorani, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovakian, Traditional Chinese & Urdu.
These are also available in English in easy read and large print. The letter is available in British Sign Language.
If you need someone to interpret for you at a GP or hospital appointment, please contact the clinic using the telephone number given in your appointment letter as soon as you receive it.
Interpreters can be arranged for spoken languages, British Sign Language and Deafblind communication. For face to face interpreting please, give as much notice as possible. In emergencies or at short notice a telephone service may be used.
Interpreters are trained in clinical communication and bound by the same rules regarding patient confidentiality as other healthcare workers.
The NHS will invite you forward to be vaccinated. You do not have to get in touch with your GP. Any questions should go to the national COVID vaccination helpline: 0800 030 8013 (available 8am–8pm 7 days a week).
